FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Johnson Hardware Joins Castle

Mississauga, ON - Castle Building Centres Group Ltd. announced today that the newest member location is Johnson Hardware located in Killarney, Manitoba. Johnson Hardware is the newest hardware retailer in town, which opened its doors on Main Street in the town of Killarney.

When two local hardware stores closed their doors in Killarney last year, owner Brendin Johnson recognized the opportunity to provide a one-stop hardware store and serve his community with better selection and service than his nearby competitors. He wanted to offer local contractors and consumers with products that had previously been unavailable in the area.

“I was inspired by the extensive product assortment that Castle had to offer and intrigued by the flexibility of belonging to a member owned company. That’s why I chose Castle as my partner.” Brendin Johnson, Owner Operator, Johnson Hardware

Although new to the retail business, Johnson Hardware is already positioned for success and rapid growth. Brendin is confident that with Castle’s support, superior programs and buying power, the store will have better selection and more competitive pricing than the competition.

“One commonality you will find when talking to a Castle member is their entrepreneurial spirit. Whether they have been in business for decades or just starting out, they have the passion and drive needed to grow their business into something truly successful. They work hard, support their communities and take pride in the fruits of their labour. Castle is all about partnering with independents who share this passion and giving them the freedom and the tools they need for unparalleled success” Ken Jenkins, Castle Building Centres Group

Castle welcomes Johnson Hardware to the family.
