Independents Experiencing Real Success with Castle
December 15, 2014 Castle Building Centres Group Ltd. announced today a new member location in Lachute, Quebec. This new location in the town of Lachute located between Montréal and Gatineau is yet another recent acquisition by the well-known Castle family Godin. “It gives me great pride to see one of our own members experience continued growth within their region. We welcome the newest Groupe Godin location in Lachute; another fine example of how Castle’s unique business model of delivering freedom, profitability, and unparalleled buying power is contributing to our members success.”
This new Castle location in Lachute marks the second new Groupe Matériaux Godin location in this region. The Godin family already own and operate 4 additional successful locations in the Central region, making this their fifth Castle location. The Lachute location is extensive, and includes a 10,000 sq ft area of retail with over 30,000 sq ft warehouse capacity attached to the retail space. “Our family is very proud to introduce another new Castle location this year. Groupe Godin continues to grow and experience success as part of the Castle group and look forward to 2015 and more expansion.”
The store is currently undergoing a Castle branding upgrade and the management team, that includes Jean Guy Quann, is now in place. Jean Guy who is very well known and highly respected in Quebec’s LBM industry; will assume the role of General Manager and be responsible for day to day operations and management at this new Groupe Godin location.
