The second independent member location to join the Castle Building Centres Group this year; Matériaux St Étienne of Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon; a district within the city of Levis, Québec has been serving the local community for over 30 years and comes to Castle from the Home Hardware banner.

The existing 6,000 square foot retail space which is currently under expansion sits on two hectares of land and is the site of a drive through warehouse totalling over 30,000 square feet. The business was acquired last year by entrepreneurs Amaury Sauer and Hélène Stichelbout who are excited about this new endeavour and the newly designed 10,000 square foot Castle branded store that will be completed by early spring. The retail store is staffed by over 25 employees and is a full service lumber, building materials and hardware operation with a complete service truck fleet to meet the needs of their growing customer base.

Partners Blake Agnew; former Chairman of the LBMAO and Jamie Grierson, who manages the roofing division are looking forward to the transition to Castle and this new phase for Harold and Goetz. The Castle Building Centres location will be served by over twenty-five experienced staff members specializing in sales and service of lumber, building materials, roofing, window and door products as well as expert installation services.
