New Castle Head Office Team MembersCastle is pleased to announce the addition of Matthew Raetsen as Business Development Manager for Manitoba - Saskatchewan. Matthew brings with him solid industry experience and very professional and energetic attitude and his professionalism and genuine approach has resulted in a strong relationship base in Western Canada. Prior to joining Castle, Matthew’s spent many years of his career with Ply Gem Canada and his most recent role being Branch and Brand Manager of Mitten/Ply Gem. Over the next few months, Matthew will be working closely with Castle’s Business Development Team Mentor Alan Schoemperlen to gain a thorough understanding of the Castle business model and meet with members in his new region. Please join Castle in welcoming Matthew to the Castle Family. The Castle MarCom Department is also welcoming a new addition to their team. Maryam Bashir will work alongside Jennifer Mercieca and Susan Brook as Castle’s Bilingual Marketing Coordinator supporting English and French speaking members, vendors and the Castle head office team with their marketing programs. Maryam, who was already part of the Castle head office was promoted from the Rebate department in after just over a year with the company. Prior to joining Castle, Maryam was employed by a well-known Brand Loyalty Marketing company and worked one-on-one with members of the program. Her marketing and administrative experience as well as her understanding of Castle’s business model made her a great fit for the department. Maryam is bright, positive and energetic and will bring youth and new perspective to the department and will provide support and assistance to both our English and French speaking members.
