Castle Welcomes New Location in Quebec

Castle’s footprint in Quebec continues to expand with the addition of their newest member in the Chaudiere Appalaches region.

Le Bâtisseur Quincaillerie et Matériaux, in Frampton, QC, is now under the management of the Drouin family. Well known in their region as commercial entrepreneurs, they decided to expand their business and while maintaining their local commercial service. Although new to LBM retail, the group of strong entrepreneurs, are recognized for their community contribution and have plans to serve their new customers with exceptional service and quality home improvement products, in this new endeavor.

When owners Anick, Cindy and Steven Drouin started researching buying group options, the decision to join Castle, according to them, was a “no brainer”.

“Our decision to go with Castle is based on several reasons but mainly on the support, strength and a very genuine approach. As an honest partner we trust Castle would allow us to maintain our independence while growing our business and achieving our long-term goals." Anick Drouin, Owner, Le Bâtisseur Quincaillerie et Matériaux

The family-run operation now includes a large retail area, warehouse space and lumberyard where they are dedicated to continuing their presence as a community mainstay. They are excited for the new opportunity with Castle and the future possibilities.

“Our business model and the Castle culture is unlike any other buying group in the industry. From the lowest cost of group affiliation to the lowest cost of goods and best-in-class member services, our approach is transparent and our commitment to the success of our members is at the core of everything we do.” Ken Jenkins, Castle President & CEO
