Castle Continues to Expand its Reach in Quebec Region |

Growth in Quebec continues as Castle announces another new member location in the region. Deschenes & Compagnie Inc. is the newest independent to join the Group and is situated at the gates of the Gaspésie region, in Price, QC. |

The business was founded almost 75 years ago and was recently acquired by Victor and Gabriel Boucher along with their father Bruno. Well known in the region, Victor and Gabriel are young and dynamic entrepreneurs who are excited to improve the facilities in the coming years. This new generation of ownership hopes to connect with existing customers and attract new ones through an increased social media and web presence. In addition to a wide assortment of home building materials, they will continue to offer their niche speciality of wood processing, woodwork, mouldings and repairs. |

When the new owners acquired the business, they realized they needed to be part of a buying group that would support their growth but wanted to ensure that they could maintain their independence. After reviewing all their options, they concluded that Castle offered the best of both worlds. |
