Castle Kicks Off 2023 With Two New Dealer Locations in Ontario |

Castle welcomes in the New Year with the announcement that Hodgins Lumber, a large independent retailer with two locations in Southwestern Ontario, will be joining the group. |
|
Hodgins Lumber is rich in history and has locations in Lucknow and Wingham, ON. Their flagship location in Wingham, ON first opened its doors in 1961 under the ownership of Jack Hodgins. His son Dave and his wife Melinda took over the business in 1980. The Lucknow location was founded almost 100 years ago before being acquired by Dave and Melinda in 1988. Although the couple are still involved in the family owned and operated business, they have since passed on the torch to their sons Brock and Jordan Hodgins. |

Over the past five years, the brothers have grown the business significantly, taking the stores to a whole new level. The Wingham location has recently undertaken a multi million-dollar renovation and both locations will be rebranding as Hodgins Lumber – Castle in the coming months. Brock and Jordan are on the front lines driving the business forward and plan to expand in the coming years by adding more locations. |

Like many other independent LBM retailers, the direction of their current buying group was making them uneasy, and they were concerned about their future success. They felt it was time to explore their options and after an extensive review of various buying groups, they determined that Castle was the right fit for them and would provide the opportunity to help them achieve all their goals. |

The date of the upcoming transition of their business to Castle is to be determined with plans for a Grand Re-Opening in Spring 2023. In the meantime, the family owned, and operated business continues to proudly serve Southwestern Ontario with their lumber and building needs. |
